Legal PowerPoint Presentations

PowerPoint Presentations allow your Firm to answer possible questions that clients may have in a visually affective way. Here is an example of a PowerPoint presentation a firm focused on DUI/DWI might post.

Also, we have the option of creating a PDF for you. PDF is a universal file format that preserves the fonts, images, graphics, and layout of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. PDF files are compact and complete, and can be shared, viewed, and printed by anyone with free Adobe Reader software. A PDF can improve document management, increase productivity, and reduce reliance on paper.

Some common problems that occur which PDF can fix.

  • Recipients can't open files because they don't have the applications used to create the documents. With PDF, anyone, anywhere can open the file. The only thing needed is the Adobe Reader software.
  • Combined paper and electronic archives are difficult to search, take up space, and require that the application in which a document was created be available for future access. PDF files are compact and fully searchable, and can be accessed at any time using Adobe Reader. Interactive hyperlinks make PDF files easy to navigate.
  • Businesses revert to paper exchange of documents and forms due to a lack of verifiable and auditable electronic processes. PDF documents may have special access rights applied and may be digitally signed.

Why use PowerPoint?

One of the best reasons to use PowerPoint is the ability it gives you to present content in a qualitatively different way through the use of graphics, charts, animation, and even video or audio. Try to think of ways to present ideas visually to help clients understand concepts. PowerPoint comes with a library of clip art, diagrams, and graphs, or you can insert other image files. You can create a simple “animation” by drawing each step in the process on a different slide, then moving from slide to slide with a transition applied.

There are also other ways to use PowerPoint besides presenting an entire lecture with it. You might consider creating short, animated presentations to illustrate specific topics or processes that are hard to explain.
